Can you respond to comments on a plan set prepared by someone else?
Send the plan set and the comments. We review the drawings and supporting information to identify the work we can take responsibility for, including any independent calculations or replacement sheets needed.
What if some comments fall outside your scope?
Our proposal lists the items we will address and those that need input from your contractor or another design professional, so responsibilities are clear before resubmittal.
How long does a correction take?
It depends on the comments, the disciplines involved, the completeness of the record, and the review queue at the jurisdiction. Deliverable dates are confirmed with the scope and fee.
Are the documents signed and sealed?
Yes. Plans, calculations, and letters we prepare are signed and sealed by a licensed Florida professional engineer and issued for permit use.
